Buyers
  • Don’t forget a Valid Photo Identification (Driver’s License, Passport, or State-Issued Identification Card).
  • Bring a List of Your Residences for the past ten years
  • Make sure you have a Certified Check, made payable to Entitle, Inc., for the amount that your loan officer has specified.
  • Bring a Personal Checkbook for any charges that might come up at the closing table.
  • Your new Lender may require a Proof of Sale for your present home, so bring the signed Settlement Statement and a copy of the Warranty Deed from your prior closing.
  • You’ll want your new home to be all ready for you on the date of your closing, so be sure to contact all Utility Companies in advance to get service set up—e.g. CenterPoint/Xcel Energy, Water/Sewage/Garbage, Comcast, Direct TV, etc.
Sellers
  • Don’t forget a Valid Photo Identification (Driver’s License, Passport, or State-Issued Identification Card). We will also need your Social Security Numbers.
  • Bring a List of Your Residences for the past ten years
  • If married or more than one owner, your spouse and All Owners are required to attend the closing.
  • Make sure to bring all copies of Keys and Garage Door Openers, and Garage Door Codes, if applicable.
  • If you had any major improvements recently made to your home, a Sworn Construction Statement and Lien Waivers must be submitted at least Three (3) days prior to closing.
  • Don’t forget to contact all Utility Companies that were servicing your property to arrange for final readings and final bills.
  • Provide Forwarding Addresses for all sellers so we may reach you after closing.
